June's site of the month is my new site at Substack.com. you can get tips from fans and there's no length requirements or annoying rules to make you not want to write. fans can give you tips or a monthly payment which can make it a lot easier to write. fans can pay you directly and on a regular basis which is great. if you're looking for a place to write AND get paid for it, Substack may be a good fit for you. all payments made through Stripe by the way.

Ironically, my ancestor Debby Shinault was a medium, and by that I mean fortune teller. That's what she put on the census. The newspaper called her the Witch of Chestnut Ridge. She was of French descent. Her ancestor Estienne Chenault was a French Huguenot. You can read about her and her family in my other blog Questions and Ancestors.

DUNGEON MASTER since about 1985 or so... I got bored... also it is useful for creating stories and plots and scenarios. Great writing tool... 

and it may be hereditary as my third great grandmother was a fortune telling witch. Wish i could have met her... Developing the dungeons and controlling the monsters is kind of like writing a book and the ending can be a complete surprise... 

and you learn to leave the decisions to the roll of the dice...

Looking for a place to make some extra cash? Blogger will give you a piece of the advertising pie if you write for them and advertise via Google Adsense. Of course, the more you write the more you make so you need to write a lot. Also, dont quit the day job; the pay is not that great.

Also, Blogger is not as picky about how much you write like some other sites that shall remain nameless here. So, if you want to get some spare change in your spare time, Blogger is a good site to write for.
